The Third Reich was history's most recent attempt by a Totalitarian dictatorship to conquer most of Europe and Russia and parts of Africa.
A man named Adolph Hitler risen from the ashes of World War I and a failed career in the Arts to become the fascist dictator of Germany. Hitler rebuilt Germany and led it to war and its eventual defeat and destruction.
It took a whole world's effort to stop and defeat Hitler and his Third Reich.
Only the relicts of the Third Reich remains with us to remind us of our victory against the darkness that descended on Europe in the 1930's to 1940's .......

GER-101 MEDAL FOR THE WINTER FIGHTING IN THE RUSSIAN FRONT Germany, Third Reich, World War II, medal for the winter fighting in the Eastern front against Russia. The medal is in two shades of dark gray, on the obv. there is the German helmet over a "potato masher" grenade. The eagle on the swastika and branch. The rev. the helmet and grenade and sword and branch "WINTERSCHLACHT IM OSTEN 1941 / 42" 83mm high with the ribbon and 36mm wide. The obverse has the swatika in the center and 1939 on the bottom arm of the cross, the reverse has 1813 on the bottom arm of the cross. Red, White, and Black ribbon. GER-121503 Germany, Third Reich, Luftwaffe Enlisted Man's Belt Buckle The belt buckle for the majority of the men enlisted in the German Airforce (Luftwaffe). Has the German Eagle flying and holding the swastika below, surrounded by a wreath and with a pebble finish surface for the background. On the reverse is the bar with the two prongs and the catch. The leather belt tab is still attached. The leather is stamped with what looks like "G. FERD. WIEDMANN 1938 FRANKFURT A. M. S."
